FAQ

HOW IS THE RENTAL AMOUNT CALCULATED

Each trailer is rented out on a rate/day basis. The day of Collection and the day of Return are counted as 1 day.

RENTAL TIME

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD Normal Weekends-Minimum 3 days Long weekends-Minimum 4 days School Holidays-During school holidays a minimum rental period will apply. Please contact us for more info.

WHAT DOES THE RENTAL COST INCLUDE

Included are the trailer, the items on the Inventory, Comprehensive Insurance and Cross Border docs where applicable.

BREAKAGE DEPOSIT

A R5000 Breakage and Insurance excess deposit is payable prior to collection of the trailer. It is refunded within 7 days after the return of the trailer minus any losses or damages.

WHY A COPY OF MY ID

In case of an Insurance claim proper identification is required. Cross Border documentation needs to be 100% accurate to ensure a troublefree transit through the border.

WHY A COPY OF MY DRIVERS LICENSE

For trailers with a GVM above 750kg a Code EB license is a requirement both Legally and for Insurance purpose. Code B licenses are sufficient for trailers with a GVM of less than 750kg.

CHARGING THE TRAILER BATTERIES AND KEEPING THE FRIDGE COLD

Most campsites in SA have 220V electricity and the trailer is connected to this to charge the batteries. For bush camps batteries can be recharged via Solar Panel(Check our Extras) or from the vehicle through a battery cable with Brad Harrison Plug(To be installed by client).

LINEN

We do supply a fitted sheet with every trailer. You take the rest of your own linen.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY

Prior to collection you will be contacted and a time scheduled for collection. Trailers are collected from and returned to our premises at
